Course Extension Requests are due by the last day of the quarter. With a Course Extension Request, all coursework is due no later than seven days after the course end date.
PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED AT THE TIME OF THE EXTENSION REQUEST IN ORDER TO BE PROCESSED COMPLETELY.
Information Regarding Course Extensions
Course extension requests must be submitted on or before the last date to file each quarter and extension filing fees paid for the request to be considered.
EACH COURSE EXTENSION PROVIDES 7 CALENDAR DAYS FROM THE LAST DAY OF THE QUARTER TO SUBMIT ALL FINAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THAT COURSE.
Grades for work submitted during an approved extension period will not be affected by the extended time granted. During an approved extension time-period, a grade of “I” (incomplete) will be listed on transcript records until a final grade has been submitted. Any work not received by the extended due date will not be accepted and a final grade will be posted.
Course extension requests are evaluated and approved by the Registrar. Approval of requests is usually granted if submitted by the last date to file for course extensions and extension filing fees have been paid. If there are concerns regarding a request, you will be notified.
NOTE: In certain extenuating circumstances, a course extension longer than the standard 7-days is granted. If you would like to apply for a longer extension, contact the Registrar ([email protected]) by the extension due dates to make appropriate arrangements based on your situation.
Course extension filing fees are $45.00 per course per quarter. This is a nonrefundable fee. Upon completion of the Course Extension request you will be taken to the payment page, where you can pay the extension fee.
